In my own words...

Hi there! I’m Cherry. I was born in Shanghai, but spent most of my life in Canada 🇨🇦 – first Vancouver, then Montreal, and right now I’m based in San Francisco 🇺🇸. I’m always thinking about everything AI 🤖 – sometimes about traditional geopolitics, sometimes about the impact of AI on social connections, on human cognition, and sometimes about the definition of intelligence and creativity 🤔... When I’m not thinking about AI, I’m probably baking 🍰, writing a Letterboxd review 🎬, or finding the next binge-worthy docu-series on Netflix. I love traveling to new places ✈️, checking out local grocery stores, and discovering third places ☕️.
